We have officially entered the month of March and it’s shaping up to be a great time for nature lovers!

Take a break from stress and rest your eyes, fill your stomachs, and entertain your ears with these five things to do this weekend (March 4-6):

1. See some sakuras

Spring is here!

Starting this weekend, you can join Tokidoki’s five magical Unicornos in making their debut at this year’s Sakura floral display at Gardens by the Bay.

The landscape will feature torii gates, hanami settings, and Japanese floral art by Ikebana International Singapore. You will also be able to explore a “magical giant box” with marumado, or traditional round Japanese windows with a view.

This sakura event is one of GBTB’s eight full-scale displays for 2022. Find out more here

2. Visit a therapeutic garden

Looking for a new place to take your evening walks?

You’ll be pleased to know that the National Parks Board (NParks) has opened two new therapeutic gardens at Bedok Reservoir Park and Pasir Ris Park over the past week!

The gardens have been deliberately planned to facilitate visitors’ interactions with nature and improve their well-being. This includes an inter-generational fitness corner, as well as an outdoor physiotherapy area with fitness equipment that can be helpful for physiotherapy sessions for seniors.

Check out our list of five things to do at the Bedok Reservoir park!

3. Go on a staycation
