We are almost done with the first quarter of the year, but it seems like there’s never a lack of good food to eat!

Here are five things to do this weekend (March 25-27):

1. Visit a Gentle Monster pop up store

In a collaborative campaign between K-pop sensation Jennie Kim and eyewear brand Gentle Monster, there will be a pop-up store right here in Singapore where you can get your hands on  gorgeous sets of eyewear collections!

Named ‘Jentle Garden’, the pop-up store will also have an exclusive ‘FRUITS OF PARADISE’ package which includes seven eyewear pieces selected by Jennie complete with the star’s autograph on the box.

The pop-up will be located at the level one atrium in ION Orchard, and will run from Mar 21 to Apr 3, from 10am to 10pm daily. Find out more here.

2. Support Qi Yuwu’s ice cream

Local actor Qi Yuwu has created two ice cream flavours (ginseng and goji berry) as part of a collaboration with local gelato shop Monarchs and Milkweed and refrigerator brand Sub Zero.

Priced at S$56, you get a pint of each flavour and an insulated carrier bag. The new flavours are now available for purchase via pre-order.

Orders will have to be collected at Monarchs and Milkweed along 802 North Bridge Road, as there is no delivery option.

3. Have a meal with some ponies

Friendship is magic! Need ideas on where to eat with your friends this weekend?

Head on down to the Kumoya outlet at Orchard Central as it will be bringing back the “My Little Pony” theme from Mar 23!  Familiar ponies like Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, are part of the cafe’s décor.

Food-wise, the menu will include six snacks, five mains, three desserts and 11 drinks. This includes the Dashing Magical Rainbow Dash Impossible Plant Based Burger (S$27.90) and Hand Cut Nacho Cheese Fries (S$13.90).

Kumoya is located at level four in Orchard Central. It opens daily from 11am to 9.30pm.

4. Try a durian mochi from KFC

While durian season only starts in around June, it’s never too early to feast on Golden Durian Mochis by KFC!

Introduced last April, the dessert features D24 durian lava wrapped with a deep-fried mochi skin. You can choose to get it as a set of five pieces (S$3.95) or ten pieces ($7.80).

The Golden Durian Mochi will be available at all KFC Restaurants except the Singapore Zoo and Singapore Polytechnic for dine-in, takeaway, and KFC Delivery.

5. Drink an Oat Milk Latte

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has added a brand new Oat Milk Latte to its menu! To celebrate the launch, you can enjoy a 50 per cent discount off the new drink until Mar 31, making it just S$3.90 for a regular size Oat Milk Latte.

This drink is a healthier option as it’s made from OATSIDE’s oat milk — a plant-based substitute milk that has no saturated fats or added sugar. You can also opt to top-up S$1 to choose oat milk as substitute milk for other beverages.

The promotion is available all day in the month of March, in-store and on GrabFood, while stocks last.
