The weekend is finally here! If you don’t have anything planned yet, fret not, because we’ve got you covered!

From exciting festivals to newly-released movies, there is definitely something for everyone to look forward to.

Here are five things to do this weekend (Jun 17 to 19):

1. Celebrate Father’s Day with a scenic run

Not sure what to do for Father’s Day? Why not go on a scenic 4km run with him! Best part is you’ll both be rewarded with beers along the way.

Organised by Chimi’s Mexican Restaurant and Bar, the SoleMates Dad’s Day Out Beer Run will kick off at 5pm on Jun 19 and begin with participants having their first beer at Chimi’s upon registering.

The next pit stops where participants can redeem their beers are Mischief at Esplanade, Bayside Drinks & Eats at Fullerton, and Chimi’s Marina Bay.

Tickets start from $38 and can be purchased through eventbrite.

2. Treat yourself to some good food at TWILIGHT: Flea & Feast

On the lookout for more gastronomic adventures? TWILIGHT: Flea & Feast has got you covered.

The popular flea market will return to the Suntec Convention Centre for this weekend only, from Jun 17 to 18, from 12pm to 10pm.

Expect over 40 food stalls selling an array of Muslim-friendly goodies from various cuisines like Korean, Thai and Japanese.

The market is at Halls 403 and 404. Admission is free.

3. Thrift new pieces for your wardrobe at Mercury Fest

Support small Instagram businesses this weekend by heading down to pop-up event, Mercury Fest.

A total of 47 shops will be there to sell their preloved and curated apparel as well as handcrafted accessories.

Mercury Fest will run from 12pm to 8pm on Jun 17 and 11.30am to 7.30pm on Jun 18 at the Visual Arts Centre @ AZ Paya Lebar, #03-04, Singapore 409015.

4. Catch Buzz Lightyear’s origin story in theatres

Fans of Toy Story, rise up!

Science fiction action-adventure film Lightyear is now out in cinemas.

Follow the legendary space ranger as he embarks on an intergalactic adventure alongside recruits Izzy, Mo, Darby, and his robot companion, Sox.

5. Meet the cast of Ah Girls Go Army

For this weekend only, Cathay Cineplexes will host an Ah Girls Go Army marathon, screening both Ah Girls Go Army and Ah Girls Go Army Again, at selected outlets. The cast will also be there to greet fans of the series.

As part of the $29 package, audience members will be entitled to tickets to both movies as well as one signature caramel medium-sized popcorn and a large Coke.
