Titled #somernights: Silent Cinema, the event will screen Disney’s Encanto at 7.30pm and Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings at 10pm.
Attendees should bring along a fully charged phone as well as a pair of headphones for audio purposes.
Tickets cost $10 and come with a small bag of Garrett’s popcorn. They can be purchased via the Cinewav app on iOS and Android.
2. Try McDonald’s new Chicken McCrispy flavour

Can’t decide what to have for lunch? Why not try McDonald’s latest Chicken McCrispy flavour, Salt & Pepper!
Available for a limited time only, the new menu item features chicken pieces coated with salt, pepper and parsley flakes.
McDonald’s Chicken McCrispy Salt & Pepper is available for dine-in or takeaway at all restaurants or via McDelivery, GrabFood and foodpanda.
3. Check out the latest orchid display at Gardens by the Bay

Catch over 30 species of Costa Rican orchids at Gardens by the Bay from now till Jul 11.
Called Orchids of Costa Rica – Resilient Beauty, the display features unique orchids like the Acianthera decipiens, that have colour-changing flowers from a dark purple in its initial days of blooming, to red and eventually an orangey-yellow.
The display will be at Gardens by the Bay’s Cloud Forest. Admission fees for the Cloud Forest still apply.
4. Pledge for a drug-free cause at the DrugFreeSG Pop-up

Head down to the DrugFreeSG Pop-Up at the east atrium of Suntec City to show your support for the anti-drug cause.
From now till Jul 3, you can check out a series of experiential activities such as two immersive rooms designed to allow visitors to feel the negative effects of drugs through multi-sensory experiences.
There’s also an educational room which showcases preventive drug education content to reinforce the anti-drug messages as well as a life-size acrylic ribbon where visitors can drop their folded anti-drug ribbons to pledge for the drug-free cause.
5. Catch Stranger Things Season 4 Part 2 on Netflix

Those who have been religiously keeping up with the series would be glad (or sad) to know that the final two episodes of Season 4 will finally hit Netflix on Friday (Jul 1), five weeks after Part 1’s premiere on May 27.
While Part 2 only has two episodes, they are significantly longer than usual. Chapter Eight: Papa has a run time of about an hour and 25 minutes, while Chapter Nine: The Piggyback is two hours and 30 minutes long.
