Five things to do this weekend (Feb 25-27)
Don’t just treat yourself, the rhinos at the Night Safari need some love too!
End off the month of February with a bang! Go experience things you’ve never tried before, or buy new products to spice up the vibe of your room.
Here are five things to do this weekend (Feb 25-27):
1. Feed some rhinos

Meet Newari, one of the two Indian rhinos at the Night Safari!
In a new attraction at the Night Safari, you can now feed Newari with his favourite carrots for a small fee of $10. You will also be able to snap a picture with Newari and find out more about Indian rhinos, who are classified as a vulnerable species.
The Indian rhino habitat is located next to Night Safari’s East Lodge and feeding sessions will begin at 7.30pm on operating nights. Bookings for a slot to the attraction can be made on Night Safari’s website.
2. Take part in an interactive exhibition

The National Heritage Board has worked with two immersive media companies to bring forth a futuristic and interactive exhibition, DigiMuse 2.
Taking place at the Asian Civilisations Museum till Mar 20, the exhibition features two virtual reality experiences that both history enthusiasts and tech junkies can enjoy. This includes digging up a 14th century blue and white porcelain vase from China’s Jingdezhen kilns and several Yuan Dynasty porcelain figurines in the vicinity of the Empress Palace.
The museum opens from 10am to 7pm daily, closing later at 9pm on Fridays. Entry is free for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
3. Scream for ice cream

Popular local gelato chain Birds of Paradise opened its third and newest outlet in Tanjong Pagar earlier this month to much fanfare.
Located in a shophouse on Craig Road, it is offering gelato flavours that are made with botanical ingredients such as fruits, flowers, pods, herbs and spices. These include Strawberry Basil, Coconut Sorbet and Mandarin Sorbet.
Birds of Paradise is located at 53 Craig Road #01-01, Singapore 089691. It opens daily (closed on Mondays) from 12 pm to 9.30pm.
4. Celebrate the season of spring

It’s Cherry Blossom season!
And what better way to welcome the season of Spring than to get an adorable Starbucks drinkware collection adorned in prints of pretty cherry blossoms in bloom. The collection also includes a travel organiser, reusable cutlery, an umbrella, and a Cherry Blossom Starbucks card.
It is available at selected stores islandwide and online on Starbucks’ official Shopee and LazMall channels, while stocks last.
5. Buy a new gaming chair

It seems like the Attack on Titan (AOT) hype is here to stay because Secret Lab has just designed AOT-themed gaming chairs with the TITAN Evo 2022 series.
The chairs are equipped with a magnetic memory foam head pillow which allows you to easily move it up or down for maximum comfort. There is also a layer of cooling gel that keeps the heat away.

While the chairs are not available in Singapore yet, you can register your interest here.
