From broadway musicals to the launch of new eateries, the city is bursting with new attractions that you can look forward to this weekend.

Here are five things you can do this weekend (Feb 24 to 26):

1. Catch Disney’s Frozen broadway musical and free fountain display at MBS

Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions and presented by Base Entertainment Asia, Disney’s Frozen The Hit Broadway Musical, is playing at Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) from now until Mar 19.

Tickets to the musical start from $88 and can be purchased on SISTIC

In conjunction with the musical, MBS will also be holding a Frozen-themed Fountain Display this Saturday (Feb 25) at 8.30pm and 9.30pm. 

The light and water show features music and images from the musical. It will be held at the Waterfront Promenade, and admission is free.

2. Visit NLB’s Manga Library pop-up

For the next six months, avid readers of Japanese comics can borrow them from the Manga Library at City Square Mall.

Organised by the National Library Board (NLB), the Manga Library is a self-service Grab-n-Go library that allows patrons to borrow books seamlessly. Patrons can scan their ID to enter the space, choose the books that they want to borrow, and check out with ease.

The Manga Library holds a collection of 5,000 manga books along with a variety of creative digital manga on e-Reads screens. It is located at level four of City Square Mall.

3. Check out travel deals and offers at the NATAS travel fair

The 57th edition of the NATAS travel fair will be held at the Singapore Expo Hall 5 from Feb 24 to 26 between 10am to 9.30pm. 

It features 50 exhibitors such as airlines, cruise operators and participating travel agencies, including Chan Brothers Travel, Nam Ho Travel and ASA Holidays, with special deals and offers.

Those looking to get travel insurance can also visit Etiqa’s booth, offering up to 35 per cent off travel insurance and a free sign-up gift at the fair.

4. Try out new Taiwan-inspired hotplate restaurant at Wong Fu Fu

Taiwan-inspired hotplate restaurant Wong Fu Fu opened its doors on Thursday (Feb 23).

The eatery offers Taiwan-style hotplate meals with its signature sauces such as brown, black pepper, mushroom and tomato. Some of their main dishes include the grilled chicken leg, grilled lamb chop, grilled beef striploin and Taiwanese fried chicken cutlet.

Bubble tea addicts can also look forward to the free flow of drinks including the Taiwan bubble milk tea.

As part of its opening special, the eatery is offering a promotion where every group of four diners will pay for only three. The promotion is valid from now until Mar 21.

Wong Fu Fu is located at 776 North Bridge Road and opens every Tuesday to Sunday from 11.30am to 10pm.

5. Hit up TAG Espresso’s new outlet at Takashimaya

Need your daily caffeine fix, a fancy brunch or weekend perk up? Check out TAG Espresso’s second outlet at Takashimaya Shopping Centre that recently opened its doors on Tuesday (Feb 21).

The cafe offers a wide range of menu from seasonal beverages and exclusive drinks, to a selection of light bites, Japanese-fusion rice bowls, pastas, burgers and more.

As part of TAG Espresso’s second outlet launch, customers can enjoy one-for-one drinks from Feb 20 to 28. This promotion is limited to the first 100 redemptions daily and only applies to selected drinks.

From Mar 1 to Mar 31, customers will also be able to receive a free TAG Espresso two-capsule pack with every order, limited to 100 redemptions per day.

TAG Espresso’s new outlet is located on level two of Takashimaya Shopping Centre #02-11 and is open from 8am to 10pm daily.
