Christmas is just a week away! 

If you aren’t already occupied with last-minute Christmas gifts shopping, or spending your time planning for the perfect Christmas date, then check out our guide of things to do this weekend! 

Here are five things to do this weekend (Dec 18 to 20):

1. Attend a live concert

Singapore’s “largest live music show since circuit breaker” will be taking place this weekend at the Sands Theatre at the Marina Bay Sands. 

The two-night event, ‘Back To Live’,  permits up to 500 people as part of a pilot programme funded by the Ministry of Health. Performers include Benjamin Kheng, Sezairi, Charlie Lim and many more. Find out more here.

2. Get on board The Orient Express

Gardens by the Bay will be hosting ‘The Orient Express’, an exhibition that features two original 1930 train carriages and a 158-year-old locomotive. Running from now till Jun 13, 2021, the exhibition will also include a pop-up restaurant by a Michelin star chef and a 40-seater pop-up cafe.

3. Catch the long anticipated Wonder Woman

After months of delay due to the pandemic, Wonder Woman 1984 is finally out in cinemas. 

The film is a sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman and the ninth installment in the DC Extended Universe. It is directed by Patty Jenkins and stars Gal Gadot as the main heroine, alongside the likes of Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal. 

The movie is available at Golden Village and Cathay Cineplexes.  

4. Buy clothes from IKEA

We all know that IKEA is known for its well furnished rooms and tasty meatballs, but did you know that it is also a clothing line now? 

Yes, IKEA now has its first-ever branded apparel capsule – Eftertrada. The limited collection, which includes t-shirts, hoodies, bath towels and water bottles, will be available in-stores from Dec 10 and online from Dec 17.

5. Get Hot & Spicy with Crusty’s

Fancy eating some Hot & Spicy Chicken Flavoured Fish Skin Crisps? That’s the name of local snack brand Crusty’s newest product, which was launched earlier this week. 

It will be in stores under NTUC FairPrice, Prime Supermarket and Crusty’s Shopee store online. Each pack is priced at S$7.50. 

Crusty’s is well known for its Salted Egg and Wasabi Seaweed Soy Skin Crisps.
