First Sentosa Food Fest to run for 10 weeks from Oct 21
Foodies can experience different cuisines from around the world between Oct 21 and Dec 31.
The first Sentosa Food Fest will be held from Oct 21 to Dec 31, the organisation announced on Thursday (Oct 6).
Running for 10 straight weeks, there will be a wide variety of gastronomic experiences available.
There will be four events at the Food Fest – the GrillFest, Restaurant Trail, Food Truck Fiesta and the Craft Beer Jamboree.
This year’s GrillFest is the largest edition yet, said Sentosa. Spanning over 500m from Beach Plaza to Scentopia, it features four different zones – Local Flavours, Greatest Hits, Just Grill and Chill Out – with over 200 offerings from 31 F&B establishments.
Happening every Friday to Sunday from Oct 21 to Nov 13 between 5pm and 9pm, the event will “tantalise guests’ taste buds and invite them to discover an array of creative and Instagram-worthy grilled foods”, said Sentosa.
At the local flavours section, foodies can look forward to favourites such as Lobster Hokkien Mee and Bamboo Nasi Lemak. Guests can enjoy this curation of offerings nestled within the Central Beach Bazaar.
Those looking to just wind down after a long week can do so at the Chill Out section, where the limited-edition Sentosa Jubilee Edition Island Brew by Sentosa and Brewerkz is available. It’s not all alcohol though – ice cream from Legato or grilled fruits by Durian Edition are among the offerings at this zone at Emerald Pavilion.
Among the offerings at Greatest Hits are unique flavours from restaurants Homeground Grill & Bar, Craft’B and Wildtide. Those looking for Halal options can check out Harummanis and Pergh Chicks, specialising in Malay cuisine too.
At Just Grill, renowned grocer and wholesaler Angliss will offer a variety of meats, grilled to each guest’s liking and served with a selection of sides.
The inaugural Sentosa Restaurant Trail will comprise 12 picturesque venues that include beach clubs and waterfront restaurants to dine in. It will run from Nov 7 to Nov 17 on Mondays to Thursdays.
Visitors can expect to enjoy more for less for these two weeks with the set menus that are available from $30 onwards for a two-course meal during lunch. A four-course meal for dinner with wine starts at $80.
These set menus include unique Cali-Italian and Pan-Asian cuisines.
The inaugural Sentosa Food Truck Fiesta will take place at Palawan Green and runs from Nov 18 to Nov 27, every Friday to Sunday. Those heading for the fiesta can also relish every moment with free movie screenings by the beach.
Beer enthusiasts can look forward to the Craft Beer Jamboree, which will happen from Nov 25 to Dec 4. This event will take place at Southside every Friday to Sunday.
Entry to the Sentosa Food Fest is free.
More details on additional Sentosa Food Fest activities will be announced in the coming weeks, said Sentosa.
