The inaugural Goodstock Speedfest initially scheduled to take place Aug 11 to 13 has been postponed, said organiser Goodstock Motorsports.

The new dates have not been announced yet.

Existing ticket holders will be refunded through the same payment method used for the purchase. Ticketmaster will also be in touch with all ticket holders to make the necessary arrangements.

Goodstock Speedfest is an oval track racing event at Changi Exhibition Centre that will feature a US Legend Cars race, a bandolero race for women, and a drift show.

British stunt driver Terry Grant, who holds multiple world records that includes executing the highest loop-the-loop in a car and the most doughnuts standing on a roof of a car, was scheduled to perform at the SpeedFest.

About 30 drivers from Singapore, Australia and Britain and the United States was expected to take part in the US Legend Cars race. It was sanctioned by the INEX – the international sanctioning body for the Legend Car – and supported by Motor Sports Singapore.

Apart from the races, the event was supposed to offer entertainment like drifting performances, an auto show, as well as food and beverage options.

Event-goers were slated to get a chance to drive a bandolero car – miniature stock cars with a tube frame and metal cage. It can go up to speeds of 110kmh.
