First neon-lit 24-hour private gym opens in Bishan

Ark Pod, a neon-illuminated private gym studio, has opened its first outlet in Bishan. 

Adorned with dazzling lights of different colours, the one-of-a-kind pods will operate round the clock. 

Entry into the gym will cost $3 per hour between 12am and 6am, $5 per hour from 9am to 6pm and $9 per hour from 6am to 9am and 6pm to 12am. 

There are four different pods available for use – Alpha, Beta, Charlie and Delta, with each pod comprising of various equipment for the user. 

The Alpha pod includes a yoga mat, foam roller, stability ball, mobility sticks as well as various weights of dumbbells and kettlebells. 

The Beta and Charlie pods each contain a spin bike, a treadmill, an adjustable bench, dumbbells and bumper plates ranging in weight as well as a weightlifting platform and rack. 

The Delta pod is furnished similarly to the Beta and Charlie pods but the weightlifting platform and rack has been swapped out for a squat rack. 

Each pod can accommodate a maximum of two people. 

To access the pods, customers will have to create an account on their website and provide proof of vaccination before they are allowed to book a slot. 

Ark Pod is also allowing customers to book a free tour till the end of April.
