First international League of Legends: Wild Rift tournament to be held in Singapore
The top 10 teams from across regions will compete for the Wild Rift Horizon Cup right here in Singapore.
The very first Wild Rift Horizon Cup will be held at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre on Nov 13 and the finals on Nov 21, in commemoration of the League of Legends: Wild Rift regional tournaments.
Riot Games launched Wild Rift in 2020. Regional competitions with teams from different countries, including Singapore, have already begun and the demand for esports has been impressive.
Ten teams will contest for the Wild Rift world championship in Singapore.
Riot Games said it is dedicated to widen the esports ecosystem.
Leo Faria, Global Head of Wild Rift Esports, said: “The Wild Rift Horizon Cup is the first of many steps we will take to show how committed we are to our mobile fans around the world. We are excited to share more of what we’ve been preparing for the future of the sport later this year.”
