Fashion sustainability competition open to international and local youths, $500 prize up for grabs
The competition is open to both international and Singaporean youths aged 14 to 25 years old.
Youths aged 14 to 25 can stand a chance to win $500 from a competition promoting fashion sustainability organised by the Raffles College of Higher Education (RCHE).
Titled EcoVerse, the competition will put participants’ individuality and skills to the test through the submission of an original work that promotes fashion sustainability.
Participants are free to express their vision through different mediums such as essays, illustrations, designs, collages, videos, animations, sculptures, or photographs.
Along with an original work, they will also need to prepare a write-up explaining the rationale and inspiration behind their design. The write-up should be limited to an A4 size page.
Each work will be judged based on several factors. Firstly, the work has to meet the objective of the competition which is to encourage and show their support for sustainable fashion. Secondly, the original work will also be judged for its innovation, creativity and quality of execution paired with a convincing justification. Lastly, the participants need to meet all the competition rules and guidelines set.
Once the deliverables are completed, participants will need to submit their work by uploading it to the EcoVerse Google Drive folder by May 26, midnight.
