F.R.I.E.N.D.S themed Central Perk café will be there for you
Central Perk Singapore is the first fully authorised F.R.I.E.N.D.S restaurant by Warner Bros.
Since 1994, Monica, Chandler, Ross, Rachel, Joey and Phoebe from the world famous television sitcom, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, have made fans everywhere obsessed with their hilarious lives.
But, they also left most of us heartbroken when the series ended after a 10-year run.
Well, the good news is, you can now relive your memories of F.R.I.E.N.D.S at Central Perk Singapore! The restaurant and café, which officially opens for business on Nov 29, is the first ever authorised Central Perk café by Warner Bros.

Here are five reasons why true fanatics and non-alike will enjoy their visit to Central Perk Singapore.
1. The one with the amazing attention to detail…
Right at the entrance of Central Perk Singapore, there are six themed walls for each of the main leads.
Every wall incorporates the personalities of the six characters to a tee, such as the books Ross once read when Rachel was pregnant, Phoebe’s creepy art piece “Janice”, and even a replica of Monica’s kitchen.

You might find it hard to choose your favourite wall to pose with, because they are all so on fleek.
2. The one with the cool ambience and live performances…
Other than the character walls, you can also find a replica of the Central Perk café and connecting street of New York studio sets.
And yes, that iconic orange couch from Central Perk café is parked in the centre of the café. I think it will be, undoubtedly, the hottest seat in the café.

If you didn’t manage to snag a seat on the orange couch, fret not.
There are several director’s chairs scattered across the café. Even if the other fans happened to hog the couch, you can still experience what it feels like to be “working on set” during taping.

Just like the café in the TV show, a corner of the shop is reserved for live performances from the in-house singers. You can expect covers of F.R.I.E.N.D.S‘ theme song and Phoebe’s classic ‘Smelly Cat‘.
3. The one with the perfect staff and service…
After spending two hours at Central Perk Singapore, I realised that every single staff there not only love their jobs – they are also die-hard fans of the show! Feel free to approach them or strike a conversation about the series with, and they’ll be more than happy to entertain you.

The staff also believe that all their patrons should leave Central Perk Singapore with the best experiences.
Central Perk Singapore operations executive Alexandria Hills, 20, said: “It doesn’t matter if there is a three-hour queue, we will ensure that everyone leaves Central Perk happy and satisfied.”
4. The one with the bomb.com food and drinks…
For all coffee lovers, Central Perk Singapore might be the next Holy Grail for a cup of joe. I might never return to Starbucks again. (I am a three-time Starbucks gold member, by the way)
There are specific coffee blends with differences between acidity, body, and roast to fit everyone’s taste buds.

The food is also awesomely F.R.I.E.N.D.S themed! So, if you ever wanted to taste the cheesecake that Rachel and Chandler ate off the floor or Monica’s Thanksgiving dinner, this is the place to go.
5. The one with the special merch…
Central Perk Singapore will be carrying exclusive merchandise that can only be found in the café! You won’t even find these items, such as the Central Perk Singapore aprons and personalised T-shirts, at the Warner Bros. Studios in Hollywood!
How dope is that?
