In the age-old debate over which “side” is the best in Singapore, the East may have just racked up another point.

There will now be 20 badminton courts at Singapore EXPO, making it the largest badminton hall on the island.

In a Facebook post on Aug 23, Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat shared the latest developments behind the project to revitalise the Singapore EXPO amidst the pandemic.

In addition to the badminton hall at Singapore EXPO hall six, you can also look forward to an outdoor go-kart circuit and a Timbre+ food park.

The man behind the project is none other than Richard Tan, an eager badminton player who owns KF1 – the company behind several local go-kart circuits. It will be KF1’s third circuit following its first two at Kranji and Resorts World Sentosa.
