Edith Piaf, one of the most beloved French singers of all time, returns in spirit to Singapore this April as a performing arts show celebrating her music and life comes back for a third time.

‘No Regrets’, a Tribute to Edith Piaf will run from Apr 14 to 25 at Alliance Française.

Be spellbound as 20 of Edith’s songs are performed in both English and French by a cast that includes theatre talents such as Hossan Leong (who hosts and narrates the show), Mina Ellen Kaye and Rebekah Sangeetha Dorai.

The singers will be backed by a live band with four members.

In addition to performing her songs including No Regrets (Madagascar 3, anyone?) and La Vie en rose (Emily in Paris), the show will delve into her life story, including how she was raised in a brothel, became blind but recovered some years later and how she sadly lost a great love, Marcel Cerdan when he died in a plane crash.

Throughout her life, Edith Piaf remained ever hopeful and had no regrets, a lesson we can all learn in our own lives, especially when things seem bleak.

Tickets for the show can be purchased through SISTIC from Mar 10.
