Eight giant inflatable installations open to public at Gardens by the Bay from May 28
The Children’s Festival opens from 10am to 7pm.
Eight giant specially-designed inflatable installations will ‘arrive’ at Gardens by the Bay (GBTB), as part of the Kiztopia Around the World Children’s Festival.
Happening from May 28 to Jun 19, the inflatable installations – which measure 12.5m tall – will be located at Supertree Grove.
Visitors to the festival will be greeted by a huge inflatable welcome arch, which will include the cast of Kiztopia Friends – Tiger, Happy the Hippo, Eli the Elephant, Drago the Dragon, Mark the Monkey and Raby the Rabbit.
The inflatable installations also feature the characters in hot air balloons in six different countries – Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Australia, Kenya, and the Netherlands. The installation includes the iconic landmarks of each country, such as Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay, Japan’s Mount Fuji and Australia’s Sydney Opera House.
Visitors are encouraged to take a photo at these installations for their Instagram, said organisers GBTB and Kiztopia. Two of the installations are also open for the public to “board” the hot air balloon for photos.
There are also two ticketed interactive zones, Happy’s Craft World and Tiger’s Sports Arena, for families with kids to enjoy. The zones provide a range of activities from completing different craft activities to playing sports carnival games.
Tickets (from $8 onwards) can be purchased on Klook and time slots for each interactive zone can be booked through the website before checkout.
The festival is open to the public from 10am to 7pm daily.
