Marvel Studios has dropped the trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on Feb 14, bringing back some familiar faces with new personalities.

After the hugely successful Spider-Man: No Way Home and the critically-acclaimed first season of Loki, Marvel’s next film is once again pushing the boundaries of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as seen from its chaotic trailer.

Starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr Stephen Strange, the film will follow the sorcerer and his team through doorways of different dimensions.

Some recurring characters seen in the trailer include Wong and Wanda Maximoff, with hints at a possible evil Scarlet Witch. There is also a mysterious voice suspected to belong to Patrick Stewart, who played Professor X from the X-Men movies.

The film will also introduce a new hero America Chavez, a teenager who has the ability to travel between dimensions.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the sequel to Doctor Strange (2016), and is coming to theatres on May 6.
