Disney’s all-new live action feature film, Cruella, will premiere exclusively on Disney+ with Premier Access on 28 May.

It will be available a day after the film’s official release in theatres on May 27.

For a single additional fee of $38.98, all Premier Access subscribers will have unlimited access to watch Cruella on the Disney+ website and app.

The film will be made available to all Disney+ subscribers with no additional costs from Aug 27.

Based upon the novel The One Hundred and One Dalmatians by Dodie Smith, Cruella explores the younger days of Disney’s most notorious villain, Cruella de Vil.

Set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, the film follows a young grifter named Estella, played by Academy Award winner Emma Stone.

Estella meets Baroness von Hellman, played by two-time Oscar winner Emma Thompson. Their introduction leads Estella into a series of events that eventually causes her to fully embrace her evil side and become Cruella de Vil.

Disney’s Cruella is directed by Craig Gillespie and produced by Andrew Gunn, Marc Platt and Kristin Burr. Emma Stone, Michelle Wright, Jared LeBoff and Glenn Close serve as executive producers.
