Disney to hold Disney+ Day on Nov 12, new content to release on streaming platform

Disney+ Day will feature content premieres from all of the marquee brands on service, including Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings.

Disney+ Day will be held on Friday, Nov 12, with The Walt Disney Company hosting a global celebration that will come to life across all dimensions of the company — Disney Parks and Resorts and Disney Cruise Line included, it announced on Wednesday (Sep 22). 

Subscribers to Disney+ will be treated to new content releases across the service’s iconic brands, Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and Star in international markets, along with a special presentation on Disney+ for fans with sneak peeks into what’s to come.

Additionally, the service will continue to engage new audiences around the world, as Disney+ expands into new Asia-Pacific markets on Nov 12.

Subscribers will also have access to other promotions and experiences across the Company such as photo opportunities with Disney characters at the various Disney Parks and Resorts. Merchandise on shopDisney.com will also have special offers.

Disney+ Day content will premiere from the five iconic content brands, Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic.

Some shows fans can look forward to are: The well-received Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings by Marvel Studios, a new short from The Simpsons that pays tribute to Disney+ marquee brands and Dopesick, an original series starring Michael Keaton, which will be released in international markets as part of the Star general entertainment content offering.

First looks, new trailers, exclusive clips, and appearances from Disney+ creators and stars will also be available for viewing.

In honour of Disney+ Day, Disney+ will make its debut in South Korea and Taiwan on Nov 12, and in Hong Kong on Nov 16, bringing Disney’s iconic characters and stories into the homes of new audiences around the globe.
