The 360-degree digital immersive art experience, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, will debut in Singapore in March 2023, after previously touring multiple European and US cities.

This edition debuts two unique segments – a display of the traditional Japanese art style of woodblock stamps and prints, and an authentic matcha tea ceremony showcase.

To make the experience more immersive, guests will be given the opportunity to enjoy a taste of fresh matcha right after.

Similar to other runs of the exhibition, one can expect digital projections of Vincent Van Gogh’s sketches, drawings and paintings. The Singapore edition will feature more than 300 of such digital projections, spanning over 17,000 sqf.

One of the core highlights of this exhibition is an expansive central projection area where the digital projections are said to be the most prominent.

Visitors can also expect to see a multisensory Virtual Reality (VR) experience, exclusive to the exhibit.

The inspiration behind some of Van Gogh’s works are revealed through the 10-minute journey “A Day in the Life of the Artist”.

There is also a drawing studio for visitors to unleash their inner artist. They can scan their artworks onsite and transform it into a larger-than-life digital representation which they can use as their exclusive photo backdrop.

Apart from the exhibition, there will also be a whole suite of add-on experiences, including a thematic cafe that offers Singaporean chocolatier Janice Wong’s range of pastries, and exclusive exhibition merchandise.

Fitness and artistic junkies can choose to take part in signature yoga classes and art jamming sessions.

The art experience will be located at the B1 Forum at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) and is organised by H&B in partnership with Exhibition Hub, Fever, and RWS.

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience will open to the public from Mar 1 to Oct 1. Tickets are available at $15 for children and $24 for adults.
