The SFA observed that the premises were also poorly maintained.

As a result, the SFA has suspended any food business operations of HKP Food Technology Pte Ltd until further notice.

Customers who have consumed implicated food products from Ho Kee Pau and have concerns about their health are advised to seek medical advice.

The SFA added that food safety is a joint responsibility and food operators should observe good food and personal hygiene practices at all times. The agency said it will not hesitate to take firm action against anyone who violates the Environmental Public Health Act.
