COSFEST 2023 to take place at Gardens by the Bay on Apr 8; guests include Black Lightning’s creator Tony Isabella
COSFEST is a comics, cosplay, music and art convention by the Singapore Cosplay Club in Singapore.
Titled COSFEST – LEGEND OF THE FLORAL GUARDIAN, this year’s edition of COSFEST will feature masterclasses, booths and meet-and-greets with various artists at Gardens by the Bay on Apr 8.
Highlights of the event include an art masterclass by Kia Asamiya, a manga artist known for his popular manga and anime series Martian Successor Nadesico and Silent Möbius, as well as a live show and singing masterclass by Yumi Matsuzawa, a Japanese singer for Martian Successor Nadesico.

COSFEST 2023 will also feature various international guest celebrities and artists, including Tony Isabella, the creator and writer of DC’s Comics Black Lightning; Kevin Chin, a miniature concept artist at Games Workshop; and Lim Hang Kwong, a Singaporean concept artist and illustrator.
Visitors can also look forward to getting manga artist Kia Asamiya’s autograph at his meet-and-greet event, as well as learning more about his career at a sharing session.
Like previous editions, this year’s COSFEST will feature a variety of local and overseas booths selling merchandise made by artists and cosplayers.
COSFEST – LEGEND OF THE FLORAL GUARDIAN will be held at the Flower Field Hall and Waterview Room at Gardens by the Bay from 12pm to 8pm.
Tickets will cost $23 for admission of one attendee and $40 for two attendees.
Admission to the masterclasses and talks is complimentary with purchase of general admission tickets.
