Cooler daily temperatures expected in Singapore in the first two weeks of 2021
Get your umbrellas ready for a rainy fortnight ahead.
Woke up to the aircon-like weather this morning?
The good news is that this is likely to persist for the next fortnight due to the prevailing northeast monsoon conditions, according to the Meteorological Service Singapore.
As such, moderate thundery showers are expected in the afternoon and may extend into the evening on some days.
Large-scale convergence of winds in the region could also bring about heavy and widespread thundery showers over the country on certain days.
Meanwhile, daily temperatures for the rest of the fortnight are forecast to range between 23 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius.
On a few days, temperatures may even drop to 22 degrees Celsius, so you might want to prepare your sweater for that.
However, the daily maximum temperature may still reach a high of up to 34 degrees Celsius on one or two days during the next fortnight.
While we know the rainy weather can be a bummer for some, here are six things you can consider doing this monsoon season!
