Clean and Green Singapore Experiences returns with 10 virtual tours this June and July
The virtual tours were initiated by NEA to educate participants about Singapore’s sustainability efforts.
Clean and Green Singapore (CGS) Experiences will conduct 10 virtual tours about Singapore’s sustainability hotspots in collaboration with partners such as TES Singapore and Sembcorp from Jun 14 to Jul 30.
First launched in 2021, CGS Experiences takes participants to lesser-known sustainability locations via interactive online sessions, where they can learn eco-friendly tips and knowledge.
CGS Experiences 2022, like the previous year, will take the form of webinars and workshops. It will be split into two virtual tours, The Unseen Value and Recycle Right.
The first virtual tour, The Unseen Value, will bring participants to XCEL, a manufacturing company that supplies wooden pallets and other packaging materials where they will learn about upcycling.
Following that, participants will also visit INSECTTA, Singapore’s first urban insect farm that aids in the reduction of food waste.
In the second virtual tour, Recycle Right, participants will visit the SembWaste Materials Recovery Facility to learn more about the blue recycling bin and its recycling process.
They will also visit TES Singapore, a company known for its sustainable technology services, to understand how e-waste is being recovered and the positive effects of e-waste recycling on the environment.
Admissions to CSG Experiences are free however, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Each registration form is only valid for one person per session only.
