China Square and Amoy Street Food Centre among locations visited by COVID-19 cases while infectious
Three new locations were added to the Ministry of Health's list on Thursday.
China Square Food Centre and Amoy Street Food Centre were added to the list of places visited by COVID-19 cases while infectious by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Thursday (Jan 28).
There were three new locations added onto the list by MOH. The other location is the Shrimp Prawn Seafood Restaurant at Boat Quay.
The full list of locations are as follows:
- Shrimp Prawn Seafood restaurant at 53 Boat Quay on Jan 21, between 7.15pm and 10.30pm
- Amoy Street Food Centre on Jan 22, between 1pm and 2pm
- China Square Food Centre on Jan 25, between 12.55pm and 2pm
The list is updated by MOH on a rolling 14-day basis, or one incubation period, and as epidemiological investigations progress.
If you were at any of the locations during the specified timings, you should monitor your health closely for 14 days from your date of visit as a precautionary measure, MOH advised.
There were 34 new COVID-19 cases reported in Singapore on Thursday.
MOH said that all of these cases were imported, with two of them preliminary testing positive for the more contagious B117 coronavirus strain.
