Changi’s festive light-up, Dino Glow, features an Avatar-inspired world

The light-up located at the Changi Airport Connector will run till Jan 31, 2023.

Changi’s longest-ever festive light-up, Dino Glow, is now open at Changi Airport Connector till Jan 31, 2023, according to a press release on Wednesday (Dec 6)

Supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, the light-up is part of the airport’s annual Changi Festive Village and features dinosaurs and a world inspired by the Avatar movies. 

 

The light-up greets visitors with a trail of 1,100 levitating jellyfish beneath the T2 Skytrain tracks, inspired by the bioluminescence of the world of Avatar. PHOTO CREDIT: CHANGI AIRPORT GROUP

Apart from the Avatarinspired creations, visitors can also experience walking alongside prehistoric creatures illuminated by festive lights and colours at Dino Glow.

Photography enthusiasts can take part in the Canon x Changi: Going Outdoors photography contest as well. 

The “Mystical Sights” category will take place from Dec 15 to Jan 9, 2023, while the “Celebrating Special Moments” category will run from Jan 10 to Jan 31, 2023. 

Changi Jurassic Adventure’s geo-location based 3.5km Puzzle Hunt will open to the public on Dec 10 as well.

Registration for this event is currently open and closes at 12pm on the day of the hunt.

Changi Jurassic Adventure also offers a Virtual Run or Ride Challenge for runners and cycling enthusiasts, from Dec 12 to Jan 31, 2023. 

 

Runners can unlock distance milestones in regular intervals of up to 42km (Run) or 90km (Ride) and win limited-edition finisher rewards upon completion. PHOTO CREDIT: CHANGI AIRPORT GROUP

 

All participants of the Changi Jurassic Adventure also stand a chance to win lucky draw prizes such as pairs of air tickets to a variety of destinations like Seoul, South Korea and Noumea, New Caledonia. 

Avatar-inspired delectables will also be served to visitors from Terminal 2 and Changi Airport Connector from the food trucks lining up near Carpark 2A.

The food trucks will be available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from now till Jan 1, 2023.
