Want to see Glenn Yong in the flesh? Here’s your chance.
For this weekend only, Cathay Cineplexes will host an Ah Girls Go Army marathon, screening both Ah Girls Go Army and Ah Girls Go Army Again, at selected outlets. The cast will also be there to greet fans of the series.
The first Ah Girls Go Army, which was released on Feb 1, follows a group of female Gen-Z Singaporeans who enlist in the army in the wake of a serious shortage of manpower due to declining birth rates.
The sequel Ah Girls Go Army Again, which will premiere in theatres on Jun 16, picks up from where the first movie left off. Sergeant Chow gets into a misunderstanding, Lieutenant Roxanne gets involved in Joey’s complicated relationship with her boyfriend, and the girls push through their GBMT journey before landing in a dangerous situation where their actions shock the nation.
As part of the $29 package, audience members will be entitled to tickets to both movies as well as one signature caramel medium-sized popcorn and a large Coke.
The first screening will take place at The Cathay Cineplex on Jun 18 at 1.30pm while the second screening will take place at Cathay Cineplex AMK Hub on Jun 19 at 12.40pm. Each screening will last approximately four hours.
If you’re interested, tickets can be purchased at Cathay Cineplexes’ website.
