Suggestions from the public have been narrowed down to the top five names.
It’s time to name Kai Kai and Jia Jia’s cub!
Mandai Wildlife Reserve has shortlisted five names for the giant panda cub born on Aug 14 in Singapore.
Out of all the public’s suggestions, the five chosen were Hóng Hóng, Lè Lè, Xīn Lè, Xīn Yáng and Xīn Yuán.
In a Facebook post uploaded on Wednesday (Nov 3), Mandai Wildlife Reserve stated that some of the suggestions could be shortlisted as no two pandas around the world can have the same name.
