A carnival is making its way to The Lawn @Marina Bay this September.

Organised by the Marina Bay Alliance, Carnival by the Bay will run from Sep 2 to Sep 3, and feature outdoor movie screenings, food booths selling a variety of light snacks and arcade games.

Movie screenings at the carnival will start at 7.30pm, with hit movies like Jungle Cruise and The Greatest Showman screened on Sep 2 and 3 respectively.

While outdoor chairs will be provided at the screenings, seats are limited. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnic mats and bean bags in order to chope their spots early.

In case of wet weather, the movie screening will be relocated to Marina One West Tower, Auditorium Hall, Level 3.

The carnival offers nine sports-themed arcade games for attendees such as Hover Ball Archery, Soccer Dart, Beat Saber VR and LED Buzz Wire.

There is also a giant Sticky Wall, where participants will be velcro-ed to a wall and are required to complete challenges in order to earn stamps to redeem prizes.

At the food booths, patrons can look forward to a variety of delicacies on sale.

These include gourmet soft serves, churros, hotdogs and even popcorn that they can purchase as snacks to munch on during movie screenings at the carnival.

The event will run from 5pm to 9.30pm and admission is free. However, patrons will have to purchase coupons at the ticketing counter for the food and game booths at the carnival.

As the event is cashless, payment for the coupons will be accepted through PayNow.
