Capitaland’s Disney-themed celebrations feature Iron Man, X-wing, Toy Story displays

The celebrations at 16 Capitaland malls include installations, projection shows, retail pop-ups and more.

Want to find out if you’re taller than Iron Man or see the spaceships from Star Wars up-close? Now you can with Capitaland’s Disney-themed celebrations from Nov 11 to Dec 31.

The end-of-year festivities called “From Our Family To Yours” include a total of 16 installations featuring various Disney characters across different Capitaland malls, as well as projection shows at Bugis Junction and Raffles City Singapore.

Here are five of the installations that you can look out for on your next shopping trip:

1. Life-sized Iron Man displays at Funan

Stand face-to-face with one of Marvel’s most iconic characters, Iron Man, at Funan! 

The mall will host two life-sized installations of different versions of the armoured Avenger for unique photo opportunities.

Other than the statues, there will be an art showcase at Funan’s underground pedestrian link Nov 18 to Dec 31, as well as a Hot Toys Christmas Showcase from Dec 9 to 25. 

A Disney retail pop-up will also be set up at the B2 Atrium from Nov 28 to Jan 20, featuring local brands Klosh, L’zzie, Shop The Paw and The Elly Store.

2. Replica X-wing and AT-ACT at Raffles City Singapore

A replicas of the X-wing starfighter from the latest Star Wars trilogy and the Imperial AT-ACT walker that first appeared in Rogue One are on display at Raffles City Singapore.

There is also a Star Wars projection show featuring scenes from Star Wars: Andor from Nov 11 to 20. The first show begins at 7pm, with subsequent shows at 15 minute intervals until the last show at 9.45pm.

3. Buzz Lightyear and the Little Green Men at SingPost Centre

Buzz Lightyear and his friends from space, the Little Green Men, have made a landing at SingPost Centre at the Toy Story display.

Beyond posing for photos with the characters, visitors who spend $50 in one receipt at SingPost Centre can redeem a bauble card and a photo booth experience from Nov 12 to Dec 25. 

Visitors can pen down their favourite family moment in SingPost Centre on the bauble card and hang it on the tree to stand to win a prize.

4. Winnie The Pooh and friends at Aperia

Catch the beloved bear Winnie The Pooh at Aperia in Kallang, where he enjoys his favourite treat, honey.

He is featured alongside his friend, Tigger, who is standing on a pumpkin.

Visitors can also spend $60 at Aperia (excluding supermarket receipts) to redeem a $5 eCapitaVoucher on weekdays.

5. Lightning McQueen at Westgate

The fastest racer in Radiator Springs, Lightning McQueen, will be making an appearance at Westgate along with his friends Mater and Luigi.

Westgate will also have a Disney retail pop-up at the L1 Atrium (Indoor Space) from Nov 16 to Jan 28.

The retail pop-up will feature an exclusive promotion, with Disney-themed recyclable tote bags going for $10 each with any purchase in the pop-up stores, while stocks last. There are four patterns available in blind bags, inspired by beloved Disney, Pixar and Marvel characters.

Other malls that will have retail pop-ups include Bugis Junction, Bugis+, Junction 8, Raffles City Singapore, Tampines Mall and Westgate.
