Canon to hold inaugural Creators Fiesta on Jul 30; event to feature hands-on sessions with renowned photographers

Camera enthusiasts can expect to participate in lucky draws and hands-on sessions with renowned photographers at the inaugural Canon Creators Fiesta on Jul 30.

The event, organised by Canon Singapore, will run from 9am to 6pm at CHIJMES.

Street and lifestyle photographer Steven Sung will kick off the lineup of activities with his 30-minute lesson, followed by a practical street photography exercise along with photographers Alex Goh and Jensen Chua.

After a brief lunch break, fashion photographer Leong Su Shan will take visitors through a street fashion photography session.

A conceptual portraits and creative lighting photography lesson will then be conducted by photographer Raymond Phang, together with a practical session. Freelance photographer Carlos Monforte will then take over with this storm-chasing photography session.

Along with these professionals, one of Singapore’s top YouTuber and TikToker mingweirocks will teach participants to create captivating video content. His segment will conclude the event.

Visitors who have registered for the programmes may also stand a chance to win $2000 worth of lucky draw prizes from Canon and its supporting partners.

Complimentary camera sensor cleaning will also be offered on a limited first-come-first-serve basis and is only applicable for Canon camera users.

Registrations for the sessions are free and open to all camera brand users and the general public alike. Interested participants may register for more than one session.
