Californian ice cream company Coolhaus launches in Singapore; 6 flavours available
At $13.95 per pint, the ice cream can be purchased in selected supermarkets or online on Redmart.
California-founded ice cream company Coolhaus released six of its flavours in Singapore on Aug 10.
Founded in 2009, Coolhaus’s ice cream is known for its “creamy and indulgent” texture, and is made with animal-free dairy. As a result, the ice cream is also lactose-free and vegan-friendly.
While it does not use cow’s milk, the ice cream still consists of real dairy in the form of milk-protein from microflora, that is bioidentical to the whey protein found in traditional milk.
The six flavours available are Peanut Butter ‘N Fudge, Mint Chocolate Chip, Molten Chocolate, Vanilla, Cookies ‘N Crème, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.
All six flavours are available at Cold Storage, Giant Hypermarket, FairPrice Xtra, FairPrice Finest and selected FairPrice Supermarket stores.
It can also be bought online on Redmart for $13.95 per pint.
Privé has also collaborated with Coolhaus to launch a new dessert, the Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie, which costs $15.50.
More restaurants with dessert creations involving Coolhaus ice cream are also expected to be announced soon.
