BreadTalk’s Christmas collection includes Rudolph donut, DIY gingerbread house

As part of its annual festive collection, BreadTalk has unveiled its Rockin’ Into Christmas collection which includes DIY gingerbread cookies, buns, donuts and yuletide log cakes. 

In a press release on Tuesday (Nov 15), BreadTalk said that the collection will be available at all physical outlets island-wide and online from now till Dec 25. 

There will be six exclusive flavours of donuts that will be available for the Christmas season. 

The Polar Bear donut will be filled with custard cream while the Rudolph donut will be filled with Nutella and glazed with dark chocolate. 

Those with a sweet tooth can also go for the Custard Gingerman and Sweet Gingerman donuts. 

The Custard Gingerman is filled with sweet-custard filling while the Sweet Gingerman is a classic sugar donut.

Chocolate lovers can go for the Jolly Mint donut, filled with chocolate and mint cream filling. There will also be a Berry Lovely donut featuring a strawberry chocolate glaze adorned with colourful Christmas tree sprinkles.

All donuts are priced at $2.20 each. 

A fluffy snowman-shaped white chocolate-coated bun is making its debut this festive season. Known as Mr Frosty, this bun is filled with cream cheese custard tempered with wild blueberry filling, and is priced at $2.80 each.

Those looking for hands-on activities during this festive season can give BreadTalk’s selection of gingerbread cookies a go. 

They include the DIY Christmas Tree Set, DIY Rocking Horse Set and DIY Gingerbread Cookies Set. 

The DIY Rocking Horse Set forms a functional rocking horse once assembled while the DIY Gingerbread Cookies Set includes a Christmas Tree, Gingerbread Man and BreadTalk’s mascot, Song Song.

These sets retail at $10 each, and customers will be able to purchase the DIY Gingerbread Cookies Set, DIY Rocking Horse Set and DIY Christmas Tree Set for just $9 with any purchase till Dec 15. 

The Merry Gingerbread Cookie Set ($13.80 per set of six cookies) and DIY Gingerbread House ($39.80) are also making a comeback this year.

The DIY Gingerbread House features 10 gingerbread cookies, chocolate pipings, assorted decor such as candy canes, pretzels, gummy candies and convivial sprinkles. 

BreadTalk also has a range of log cakes and whole cakes. Fruit lovers can try out The Mango Passion Log as it features a fruity coulis made with a medley of mango, passionfruit mousse and guava fruit mixed with strawberry fruit puree.

There is also a Choco Hazelnut Hut cake that showcases a chocolate chiffon cake layered with chocolate hazelnut cream. 

The log cakes will be available in all stores excluding the ION B4, Raffles City and United Square outlets from Dec 1 onwards. 

Customers who would like to pre order the log cakes can do so from Nov 10 to Nov 30. They can also enjoy 25 per cent off when they pre-order festive log cakes online and in-stores from Nov 10 to Nov 30. 

There will also be a 15 per cent off on all Christmas cakes including the Christmas Dark Forest Gateau when they are available in-stores for purchase from Dec 1 to 15.
