BLACKPINK’s Jisoo to feature on Disney+ original Korean drama ‘Snowdrop’

Korean drama lovers, time to prepare another pack of tissues.
The highly anticipated Korean drama, Snowdrop, will debut on Disney Plus on Dec 18.
One of the lead roles is being played by none other than Jisoo from Korean girl group, BLACKPINK.
The 16-part series also features Jung Hae-in from Tune in for Love and While You Were Sleeping.
Written by Yoo Hyun-mi and directed by Jo Hyun-tak, Snowdrop is set against the backdrop of the Korean political turmoil in 1987 where a young couple is forced to work together to overcome anything that stands in their way.
The drama centers around a forbidden love of the couple, bringing viewers on an emotional rollercoaster when Yeong-ro (Jisoo) and Su-ho (Hae-in) go through the challenges and sacrifices in the name of love.
