BLACKPINK announces world tour, to play in Singapore on May 13 next year

K-pop giants BLACKPINK will go on a world tour in 2022 and 2023, announced YG Entertainment through its social media channels on Aug 8.

According to the tour teaser poster, the group will play in Singapore on May 13, 2023. The concert venue and ticketing details have yet to be confirmed. 

The world tour will begin on Oct 15 in Seoul, South Korea, before the quartet heads to North America and Europe for the rest of 2022.

The tour will continue in 2023, with Asia, South East Asia, Middle East and Oceania dates confirmed. YG Entertainment also teased that more dates and locations will soon be revealed.

This announcement follows news of their new album, titled Born Pink, which is slated for release in September. 

The album’s pre-release single, titled Pink Venom, will be released at 2pm on Aug 19.

This will be BLACKPINK’s first comeback since their last album, The Album, which was released in October 2020.
