Black Eyed Peas, The Kid LAROI, TLC and Suede to perform at F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2022
With 92 performances and 79 roving acts, the F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2022 will be Singapore’s biggest street festival in three years.
Black Eyed Peas, The Kid LAROI, TLC and Suede will perform at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2022, announced organiser Singapore Grand Prix on Friday (Jul 22).
The Singapore GP will take place from Sep 30 to Oct 2. A total of 92 performances from nine different stages, 79 roving acts and an array of art installations and activities will take place, featuring performers such as Green Day, Marshmello and Westlife that was announced previously.
The newly announced four acts will perform over the three-day race event at the Zone 4 Padang Stage and Zone 1 Wharf Stage.
Six-time Grammy awards winner Black Eyed Peas will perform over both race weekend days. Fans of the band can catch them at Zone 4 on Saturday, Oct 1 and at Zone 1 on Sunday, Oct 2.
Known for songs such as Where Is The Love and I Got This Feeling, the Black Eyed Peas has sold more than 35 million albums and 120 million singles worldwide.
The Kid LAROI, an Australian rapper-songwriter, will perform on Sunday, Oct 2 at Zone 4. He has garnered 14.5 billion streams worldwide and is known for his hits such as Thousand Miles, WITHOUT YOU and Stay.
American girl group TLC will perform on Saturday, Oct 1 at Zone 1. TLC consists of two members, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas. The group has produced hits such as Waterfalls, Creep, No Scrubs and Unpretty.
Suede, a classic British boyband, will perform on Saturday, Oct 1 at Zone 1 as well. The boy band was associated with the Britpop movement in the mid-1990s and has topped the charts in the United Kingdom (UK) for three out of five of its studio albums.
Local performers such as singer and songwriter INCH and rapper Shigga Shay will also feature at the F1 Singapore GP. Local artists, such as Paper Carpenter and Lee Wei Lieh of Very Small Exhibition, will also display their artworks in the specially curated experiential zone within the Circuit Park.
This zone will offer a variety of interactive activities, entertainment and food and beverage as well.
All tickets to the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2022 will provide access to the on-track action as well as activities and performances at Zone 4.
Those who want to enter Zone 1 will have to purchase the Zone 1 Walkout Combination ticket.
