Ben & Jerry’s partners Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery to launch new ice cream, doughnut flavours
The limited-edition doughnuts will only be available from Jul 14 to Aug 13.
Ben & Jerry’s has partnered with Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery to launch two new indulgent ice-cream flavours on Monday (Jul 4) along with three exclusive doughnuts on Jul 14.
Well-known for their whimsical flavours, Ben and Jerry’s will add Dublin Mudslide and Chewy Gooey Cookie to their ice-cream selection.
These will be available for a limited period at all leading supermarkets, convenience stores and online stores on Foodpanda, Grab and Redmart at $13.90 each, while stocks last.
Dublin Mudslide is flavoured and spiked with Irish cream, which mixes in crumbly double chocolate chip cookies and swirls of aromatic coffee fudge.
This flavour is created with Wheyward Spirit, a speciality spirit company that focuses on environmental sustainability.
Chewy Gooey Cookie marries fragrant coconut and sweet milk chocolate ice creams with melty fudge flakes, buttery shortbread cookies and stretches of gooey caramel swirls.
Genevieve Lee, the founder of Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery, drew inspiration from the two ice-cream flavours to create three exclusive bombe flavours – Brûlée Hooray, Gooey Glory and Dublin’ Down, which are sourdough Italian stuffed doughnuts also known as ‘bombolinis’.
The doughnuts will be avaliable online at $5.60 each from Jul 14 to Aug 13.
Gooey Glory is a bombe filled with milk chocolate mousse and drizzled with coconut caramel glaze. It is also topped with a sprinkle of sea salt flakes and buttery shortbread cookies, inspired by the chunky Chewy Gooey Cookie flavour.
Dublin’ Down is packed with a smooth dark chocolate glaze topped with chopped hazelnuts, along with coffee-kahlua mousse to inject that bit of boozy kick and caffeinated punch. It is inspired by the Dublin Mudslide flavour.
Brûlée Hooray is stuffed with a whipped vanilla bean custard and coated with crystal candied caramel for a sweet twist.
Customers can redeem a limited edition co-branded Ben & Jerry’s and Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery reversible bucket hat worth $30, with a minimum spend of $25 on Ben & Jerry’s at selected FairPrice outlets.
They can also enjoy exclusive offers only available on the Grab app’s The Ice Cream Store, including 15 per cent off on all Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery doughnuts with every purchase, as well as 15 per cent off a minimum spend of $20 on the store with every purchase of Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery doughnuts.
