Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day to return for the first time in 4 years on Apr 3
Perhaps the best things in life are free.
Everyone can get their hands on free ice cream on Apr 3, as Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day makes its return after a four-year hiatus. This edition of Free Cone Day will feature a new limited-edition flavour – topped dirt cake.
Topped dirt cake is described as a vanilla pudding ice cream with chocolate sandwich cookies, a milk chocolate ganache and chocolate cookie crumbs.
Visitors can redeem a free ice cream cone of their choice at #02-K1, Scoop Shop in VivoCity from 12pm to 8pm.
The free ice cream is limited to one redemption per customer at a time, but visitors can join the queue again as many times as they would like.
The event will feature a variety of classic and limited edition flavours to choose from, including chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate therapy and vanilla.
Customers can also participate in three different activities where they can stand a chance to win exclusive Ben & Jerry’s prizes including Scoop Shop vouchers and merchandise.
In the game Ben & Jerry’s Trivia, event-goers will be chosen at random to answer different questions about Ben & Jerry’s, ranging from company history to unique flavours.
In Guess the Flavour, visitors will be given a list of different names that they must correctly match to iconic Ben & Jerry’s flavours.
In Spot Woody, participants will be tasked with spotting the total number of Woody the Cows around the Scoop Shop.

Free Cone Day is a global celebration carried out at all Ben & Jerry’s outlets all over the world every Apr 3, a tradition that has been upheld by the company for more than 40 years.
The first ever Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day was held in 1979 in Burlington, Vermont, to thank its customers for all the love and support they showed in its first year of business.
