Art exhibition raising awareness about mental health returns with more works
ThisConnect: Threading Worlds returns for a full exhibition and selected exhibits until Feb 8, 2021 at various locations across Singapore.
It is back and bigger this time.
ThisConnect: Threading Worlds, an experiential exhibition which aims to raise awareness about mental health, is running until Feb 8, 2021 at four locations in Singapore.
The main exhibition featuring all seven works will be held at 1 Neil Road until Jan 30 from 12pm to 9pm daily. The other locations will feature selected works.
The other venues are Temasek Shophouse until Jan 17 from 11am to 5pm on weekends excluding public holidays, library@orchard from Jan 2 to Feb 8, 11am to 9pm daily excluding public holidays, and the Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre from Jan 2 to Feb 8, 10am to 10pm daily.
Previously, a prelude exhibition featuring two selected works, I Feel You and Tipping Point was held in September. It featured video installations of the works and drew 825 visitors including local actor, Adrian Pang.
A non-profit organisation that handles youth mental health, Limitless, has seen over 250 new people needing assistance this year as of October. That is 13 more people than the whole of 2019.
