9 bus services routes at Pasir Ris to be temporarily amended for Cross Island Line construction
This is due to a closure of a section of Pasir Ris Drive 1.
Routes for nine bus services will be amended from Oct 30 due to the closure of a section of Pasir Ris Drive 1 to facilitate the Cross Island Line construction works.
The nine bus services are SBS Transit’s 21, 39, 53, 81 and 109 as well as 12, 12e, 17 and 518 managed by transport operator Go-Ahead Singapore.
These services will skip a pair of bus stops at White Sands Primary School and at the future Pasir Ris East MRT Station along Pasir Ris Drive 1. It will stop at three additional pairs of bus stops along Pasir Ris Street 11 and Pasir Ris Street 12.
More information about the road closure will be released by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) at a later date, said SBS Transit in a news release.
The Cross Island Line is currently in its first phase of construction. The 12 stations, from Aviation Park in Changi to Bright Hill in Sin Ming, are slated to be ready by 2030.
