7 new F&B outlets with local and international flavours opening at Changi Jewel
The stories include Sourbombe, Sushiro, The Original Vadai, and The Hainan Store Chapter 2.
Jewel is opening seven new food and beverage outlets that feature a wide selection of local and international cuisines over the next three months.
Dessert store Sourbombe, which specialises in sourdough Italian Bomboloni, will open their Jewel outset in August. It sells cream stuffed doughnuts that come in unique gourmet flavours like Burnt Honey & Sage Walnuts, Lavender Lime Mascarpone, and Basque Burnt Cheesecake.
Co-founder Genevieve Lee said: “We made the conscious decision to expand our bakery in Jewel Changi Airport as we wanted to fly our Singapore flag high and proud by sharing our whimsical and imaginary flavours to more pastry lovers, especially tourists.”

New menu items sold exclusively in its Jewel outlet include sourdough waffles, homemade ice cream sourdough cones, soft serve ice cream on its Italian Bomboloni, and sourdough dipping bowls with scrambled eggs, guacamole, and burrata.
For Japanese food and sushi lovers, Sushiro will open in July, offering over 100 different types of sushi and Japanese dishes.

Two specially crafted menu items have been made to celebrate the opening of its Jewel outlet. The first one is the Captain Jumbo Fried Shrimp which is assembled to look like an aeroplane and served with tartar sauce on the side.
The second item is called Jewels from the Sea. The dish is an umami-packed bite of fresh seafood made with lavish ingredients like abalone, scallop, salmon roe, and matumaezuke – which is a mix of seasoned herring roe and kombu.
Other outlets that will be open in June are The Original Vadai and Sukiya. The Hainan Store Chapter 2 and Kei Kaisendon will open in July and Fong Sheng Hao will open in September.
