Seven bus interchanges will undergo enhancement work to include more family-friendly amenities and an improved air-conditioning system, announced Land Transport Authority (LTA) in a Facebook post on Thursday (Jul 7).

The seven bus interchanges include Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Boon Lay, Clementi, Sengkang, Serangoon and Toa Payoh.

The upgraded bus interchanges will include facilities such as baby care rooms and priority queue zones. An expanded passenger service office and staff lounge will also be added to improve the current staff facilities.

Similarly, the air-conditioning and ventilation system is being upgraded as well.

By having an upgraded bus interchange, LTA said it hopes to provide commuters with “a more enjoyable and convenient commuting experience”.
