The FIFA World Cup 2022 will be screened at 65 community locations islandwide from Nov 21, announced the People’s Association (PA), Sport Singapore and the National Library Board in a joint press release on Sunday (Nov 13).

These locations include 58 Community Clubs (CC), five ActiveSG Sports Centres, the Sports Hub and the National Library Building.

PA will kick off the community screenings with the opening match between Qatar and Ecuador on Nov 21 at 24 CCs. SportSG will also screen the opening match at five ActiveSG Sports Centres.

In December, fans can catch select football matches at the Sports Hub. There will also be screenings at the Plaza of the National Library Building on Victoria Street on Dec 17 and 18, which includes the final match.

PA will also organise activities at CCs screening the matches, including esports console games, various sport try-outs, Subbuteo and Foosball table games, mini soccer challenges, live performances and prize giveaways.

Match screening schedules at the CCs are available on PA’s website, while schedules for ActiveSG Sports Centres are on SportSG’s website.
