In commemoration of World Water Day, 55 buildings across Singapore will light up in blue from Mar 19 to Mar 22.

This is in conjunction with the PUB’s Make Every Drop Count campaign, which is being held throughout March to teach the public about water conservation and about rising demand as climate change negatively impacts our water sources.

These buildings include the ArtScience Museum, Marina Bay Sands, Wisma Atria and Gardens by the Bay, among others.

This is also the first year that tertiary institutions like Singapore Management University and ITE College East, West and Central will be joining in the light-up, which has been dubbed the City Turns Blue event.

Over 100 schools will also be holding Water Wednesdays this month, to teach the youth of Singapore about water consciousness through fun activities.

If you want to participate in the nation’s celebration of World Water Day, you can snap a photo with any of the 55 lit-up locations and post it to social media with the hashtags #GoBlue4SG and #MakeEveryDropCount.

You can also enjoy over 65 deals and promotions at retail locations like LiHo, Courts, Ya Kun Kaya Toast, Best Denki, Harvey Norman and PAUL Singapore, as these companies join schools and PUB in raising awareness about water consciousness.

You can visit PUB’s website to find out which locations will be lighting up, as well as a list of deals offered.
