5 COVID-19 Joint Testing & Vaccination Centres open from May 24
Five more centres will open in June, bringing the total number of centres to 10.
Five Joint Testing & Vaccination Centres (JTVC) will open from May 24 onwards to conduct both COVID-19 testing and vaccination.
The JTVCs will make testing and vaccination services remain available to the public, even as vaccination centres progressively close from the end of May due to the majority of Singaporeans already being vaccinated.
It is also designed with the ability to step up operations in the event of an emerging variant in the future.
The five confirmed JTVC are located at the former secondary schools of Shuqun, Siglap, Bedok North, Bishan Park and the former MOE Heritage Centre. Five more centres will be open at the end of June.
Each centre will offer two vaccines between Moderna, Pfizer and Novovax.
All of these centres will also provide polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and antigen-rapid test (ART) for pre-event testing, for those with acute respiratory infections, and those who need to be provided with stay-home notices.
Singaporeans are encouraged to book their testing and vaccination slots before visiting the centres.
