4m-tall statues of Mickey and friends displays at Gardens By The Bay till Feb 23

In celebration of Chinese New Year, 4m-tall statues of Mickey Mouse and friends are on display at the Gardens By The Bay until Feb 23.

Featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald and Daisy Duck, Chip ‘n Dale, Goofy, and Pluto, the display is designed by homegrown design studio XM and is situated at Floral Fantasy.

The centre of attraction of the display is the Mickey – Year of the Tiger statue, where Mickey Mouse stands on a cliff of gold coins while holding up a baby tiger cub. It symbolises a year of positive ambition and energy ahead.

A pop-up store at the Floral Fantasy Gift Shop will also sell collectible figurines of Mickey and Friends.

The new Mickey & Friends collectibles, part of the Mickey Loves Singapore campaign at Gardens By The Bay, consist of five figurines. 

There’s Mickey and Minnie performing a dragon dance, Donald and Daisy performing a lion dance, Pluto with a red packet, Goofy with a traditional Chinese Big head doll and a mini version of the Mickey – Year of the Tiger statue.

Prices for the figurines range from $29 to $108. The complete set can be purchased at $258 at the pop-up store at Gardens by the Bay.

For every purchase made at the venue, visitors can also enjoy $10 off the set price and receive a free pack of red packets while stocks last.

The pop-up store will also exhibit an exclusive selection of XM’s premium collectibles on display, as well as other Disney merchandise products.
