The number of COVID-19 cases linked to the clusters at eight bus interchanges have risen to 469.
Thirty-three new cases were added to the eight clusters, out of the 186 new local infections reported by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Sunday (Sep 5).
There are now 150 cases at Toa Payoh Bus Interchange, 113 cases at Boon Lay Bus Interchange, 39 cases at Clementi Bus Interchange, 37 cases at Punggol Bus Interchange, 36 cases at Jurong East Bus Interchange, 35 cases at Tampines Bus Interchange, 32 cases at Bishan Bus Interchange and 27 cases at Sengkang Bus Interchange.
No new clusters were formed on Sunday and the number of active clusters in Singapore stands at 55.
Of the new local COVID-19 infections on Sunday, 90 were unlinked, 63 were linked to previous cases and have already been placed on quarantine while 33 were detected through surveillance.
There are five imported cases who were placed either on Stay-Home Notice or in isolation upon arrival in Singapore.
