The 2023 Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) will be released next Thursday (Feb 2) at 9am, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has announced.

Posting results will be sent via SMS to the mobile number that applicants registered or the JAE internet system (JAE-IS), which is accessible through the JAE website.

Students who are posted to a junior college or the Millennia Institute (MI) will need to report to the respective schools on Feb 3. They can refer to the school’s websites for more information on the reporting details and the purchase of uniforms, said MOE.

For applicants who are unable to report to their posted school on Feb 3 with valid reasons, they will have to contact the school directly to confirm that they are taking up the posting.

Those who wish to appeal or transfer to another JC or MI are to contact the JC of their choice via phone or email. The contact numbers and email addresses of the schools can be found on MOE’s website.

Applicants who are posted to polytechnics or the Institutes of Technical Education (ITE) will receive their enrolment details via email or package by end February.

Those who wish to appeal for a transfer to another polytechnic or a 2-year Higher Nitec course in ITE can do so through the JAE Online Appeal Portal. Applicants who are not posted to any course during the JAE are also advised to submit an appeal through the same portal.

Applicants can submit their appeals on the JAE portal from Feb 2, 9am till Feb 7, 4pm.

Appeal outcomes will be released on the same portal on Feb 20 at 9am.
