The 2022 GCE N-Level examination results will be released next Monday (Dec 19) at 2pm.

The Ministry of Education (MOE) said in a news release that candidates can also opt to access their results online via the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board’s (SEAB) Candidate Portal from Dec 19, 2.45pm till Dec 30, 11.59pm.

School and private candidates who have SingPass can use their account to access SEAB’s Candidates Portal. System-generated usernames will be sent to international students who are school candidates from Wednesday (Dec 14).

Private candidates who do not have Singpass can view their results in the portal using the account that they created when they registered.

Hardcopy result slips will be mailed on Dec 19 to private candidates at the address that they provided during registration.

School candidates who cannot turn up to collect their results at the school can appoint a proxy to do so on their behalf. Proxies will have to produce the relevant documents for the school’s verification when collecting the results.

MOE advised candidates who are unwell or self-isolating due to a positive COVID-19 test result to not return to school to collect their results.

Candidates who are keen to apply for courses offered by the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) can submit their applications online via the ITE application portal between 2.30pm on Dec 19 till 5.00pm on Dec 22. Hard copy application forms will also be available at the Customer & Visitor Centres at all three ITE colleges.

The ITE posting results will be released at 9am on Dec 30. Candidates can check their posting results via the ITE application portal. Acceptance of offer will have to be done by Jan 4, 11.59pm.

Applications for the Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Programme (DPP) can also be submitted online via the ITE application portal between Dec 19, 2pm and Dec 22, 5pm. The DPP route prepares candidates for progression into selected diploma courses via a two-year Higher Nitec course at ITE.

School candidates eligible for DPP will receive a copy of Form N from their secondary schools, inviting them to apply to the programme.

The posting results will be released on Dec 23 at 2pm, and candidates can check their posting results online on the ITE application portal. Acceptance of the DPP offer will need to be done by Dec 28, 11.59pm.

Candidates who are not offered a place in the DPP will have to report to their secondary schools in 2023 for Secondary 5.

Those who qualify for the Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) will receive a copy of Form P when applications open in Jan 2023. It is slated to open on the same day as the O-Level Examinations results release.

The PFP is a diploma-specific foundation programme conducted over two academic semesters at all five polytechnics. It caters to candidates who meet the PFP eligibility requirements at the end of their four-year stint in secondary school.

Those keen in applying for the PFP are advised to report to their secondary schools in 2023 to begin Secondary 5 while awaiting eligibility and confirmation of a place in the programme.

School candidates who access their results online will still be able to contact their schools and teachers for consultation on their next steps.
