Sustainability-themed carnival to be held Apr 22-23; chance to win 3D2N stay at lyf Funan

Celebrate Earth Day with the inaugural Sustainival that will be held at lyf One-North from Apr 22 to 23. from 11am to 6pm.

Partnered with Discover ASR Singapore and curated by Sunsettled Community, the sustainability-themed event will feature 20 local businesses as well as second-hand items and hand-made products for sale.

Vendors include vintage wear shop Rags and Roaches, Singapore’s first sticky yogurt chain Beyond Fruits Singapore, and local art creators such as Souffle Punch and Junesstudies.

There will also be artisanal kueh made by the Colour Palette up for redemption for the first 50 attendees each day. 

The Colour Palette is a project that aims to preserve rich culinary traditions aligned with global movements towards sustainability practices by reducing one-time use plastic packaging. 

Attendees who pre-register for the event can also join a giveaway and stand a chance to win a 3D2N staycation at lyf Funan. The pre-registration ends on Apr 19 at 11.59pm and two winners will be announced on Apr 21 through Community for Community (C4C)’s Instagram and Facebook, and will be contacted by email.

Giveaway winners will have to attend Sustainival in order to redeem the physical letter for the staycation.

Sustainival is a free-entry event held by C4C, a group of enthusiasts that aim to create events, opportunities, inclusive platforms and environments for members of the community to “grow and benefit from”.

The carnival will be an outdoor, sheltered event and is pet-friendly. More information on Sustainival and its vendors can be found on the C4C website.
